Slowly but surely progress is being made at home. The last six months have been the busiest so far with exciting clients and interior projects, which has left little time (or indeed energy) for doing my own home. But I must plough on, even though at times the transformation seems snail paced slow.
We have been in our home a year now and decided to do the sensible thing and tackle one room at a time. I am a natural butterfly minded woman darting from one project to another at break neck speed, rarely seeing anything all the way through, so this was a toughie. In my line of work no room in my own abode is ever finished. New fabrics, beautiful inspiration and fabulous ideas fill my waking days and it is ever evolving. Particularly now as we are about to embark on a major build next Spring involving a newly built kitchen at the rear, and master bedroom extension at the front hopefully.
But I would like to show one of the main rooms I have been working on.
Our living room is a really light space with a great view so I knew I wanted to go dark and daring. Having previously used Farrow and Ball Hague Blue I loved the way it looked but didn’t want to repeat it so opted for Little Greene Hicks Blue. The ceiling as you will see was sauna pine. Not for long guys……
Enjoy a little before and after action…..
